East Midlands Community Led Housing has been awarded over £100,000 from a fund set up to help regional ‘Hubs’ establish and consolidate their businesses as providers of services and support to community-led housing projects.
The funds, to be used by the middle of 2021, will cover core salary costs for project facilitation; the use of external consultancies for administrative and marketing advice; and a wider promotion of CLH ideas and opportunities through seminars and other policy developments.
The funds will also support EMCLH plans to registrar as a formal Investment Partner registration with Homes England, and then its registration as a new Registered Provider with the Registrar of Social Housing.
EMCLH will be keen to hear from projects how this increase in its resources could assist local projects to progress their own plans.
